The Stanley Cup Playoffs are off the chain! The Lightning crapped the bed and the Leafs continued their curse, but at least there were several good series. Also, Yzerman is back to save the Red Wings! Which is good news for all of us.
Also, the Kentucky Derby is next weekend and the Lions have some drafting to do and things get nerdy at the end.

Sports Desk Podcast Episode 175
Joe and Greg talk about the passing of Proposition 1 and what that probably won't mean for this podcast. But after that, it's Bryce Harper and free agency, the usual complaining about the Lions, and going through potential scenarios for the College Football Playoff with Michigan and Notre Dame.

Sports Desk Podcast Episode 174
The World Series is in full swing and it's been pretty stress free for the Red Sox so far. There's also quite the college football situation brewing as far as we're concerned, so it's about time to take stock of the situation. Also, neither of us are billionaires. Which sucks.

The Lions surprised us against New England, than returned to their old ways in Dallas, but that's not very important right now. Notre Dame is a College Football Playoff contender, the MLB Playoffs are here, and hockey begins.

Sports Desk Podcast Episode 171
Notre Dame beat Michigan in a way that probably said a lot more about the Wolverines and Jim Harbaugh than it did about Brian Kelly's Notre Dame, so Greg gets a chance to react and alter his season predictions. Then there are the Lions, who open up what could be an awful season on Monday Night. Plus, there's some random baseball stuff in the beginning.

It's bracket time and, despite being far less excited than Greg, Joe fills out a bracket as well. Picks surely incorrect when all is said and done. Before that, though, it's Lions free agency and a trip to Mars.

Nick Saban won another national title, raise your hand if you're surprised. What's next for the evil Alabama head coach? Also, are the Lions hiring Matt Patricia, or the Giants? Nobody knows. Not even Joe and Greg.

We also talk about the Tigers recent pitching acquisitions and the David Price deal in Boston. Finally, it's conference championship weekend in college football, and the Lions lost with controversy... again.
